Having never made a website, I discovered Tiptopwebsite and gave it a try. I found it very easy to use and found some very helpful tips on the blog. I just chose one of the templates that I thought looked best for my business, then added some text and contact information – and that was it. I plan to add more pages later but for now I have a internet presence for just one dollar – not bad at all! I am impressed by the service.

Wow … the websites being built off this service are absolutely about the ugliest I have ever seen. If you want a target audience to take you seriously don’t use this kind of garbage to build a site. Ok I get the whole CHEAP CHEAP thing but common people.. you get what you pay for. A website says a lot about your business and who you are. If you were a business man selling a product would you go out in the field wearing a clown suit? No, you’d wear your best suit and look as professional as possible….. otherwise customers wouldn’t take you seriosuly. Most webdev/designers hav spent years hoing their skills in the marekting arena and know what their doing and what works on the web. Would you go to McDonalds and order a filet mignon? Scary thought.

In response to the latter post, I’d like to say start by saying the writer seems to be a disgruntled web designer. It sounds to me as though this person is angry because people can use their own creativity for their business’ purposes. I think Tiptopwebsites is a great idea for small to moderate business owners to start a web-based business with without getting clobbered on advertising. So to the former post…get in where you fit in and change with the times.

I have a website powered by tiptopwebsite. Even though I have being paying my own domain, it appears at google with the domain tiptopwebsite.com/my member name. Not to mention the fact that I sell an ebook, and guess what? The page containing the PDF file should be accessible to customers after making the payment through Paypal. However, google has crowled this page, and its contain is available “For Free” to whoever find it. I think, tiptopwebsite should be more considered and respectful to its customers, and don’t use us just to grow up their business. Maybe is time to find a new hosting company, and get rid of tiptopwebsite and their poor service.

Now they are growing they do not provide a phone for contact. Can only contact by email. Say they will respond in 24 hours but I have been waiting 5 days including Sat and Sun. This has caused me great grief!! I have finally found a phone number and have now called them of course not a 800 number and have not gotten a response yet. In the beginning they were pretty good, but now!@#@!
